HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Stevenson men's tennis team (2-4) dropped their spring break finale to the St. Mary's College of Maryland by a 4-3 score.
Luke Appleman and
Brandon Nguyen improved to 3-1 in doubles play after winning their No. 1 match, 6-0.
Christian Coulson and
King Nacua fell by a 6-2 score in No. 2.
Appleman won his third match of the season in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4. Nguyen would also pick up his third win, 6-3, 6-1.
Stevenson's other win came from
Dominic Duncan, who cruised to 6-0, 6-3 victory in No. 6.
Both Coulson and Nacua fell in straight sets.
The Mustangs open up MAC Commonwealth play in a home match against Albright on Saturday, March 28 at noon.
