READING, Pa. - The Stevenson women's track and field team kicked off the MAC Indoor Championships, held at the PLEX on the campus of Alvernia University, with a fourth-place finish in the 4x200m relay.
Kaliyah Heffner,
Dallas Fowler,
Camryn Stanard and
Destiny Stephens finished with a season-best time of 1:49.22.
Fowler would also place fifth in the 60m preliminaries with a time of 8.08 seconds, earning her a spot in Saturday's finals.
Sarah Kroedel ran a personal best and qualified for the 60m hurdles finals with a time 9.51 in the prelims.
Kaitlyn Hess had a season-best distance of 4.93m in the long jump.
Kyrah Agbemble finished 13th in the weight throw with a top toss of 12.97m, while
Nneoma Oseagulu had a top distance of 11.96m.
The Mustangs are tied for 12th in the team standings with five points.
The second and final day of the meet begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28.
