LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Stevenson men's track and field team earned 11 personal bests and won the 4x400m relay at the Bucknell Tune Up, the squads' final meet before the MAC Championships.
The 4x400 relay team of
Frank McCann,
Malachi Griffin,
Josh Harris and
Jay Crawley won the event by almost three seconds over Dickinson with a time of 3:34.55.
McCann would also place sixth (first among DIII athletes) in the 400 with a season-best time of 51.08, giving him the fourth-fastest time in the conference.
Braxton Jones clocked a personal best in the 60m prelims (7.22) before taking fifth in the finals with a time of 7.25.
Zion Stokes (PR) and
Malachi Griffin finished tied in the prelims with a time of 7.27.
Joshua Tidwell jumped a personal-best distance of 12.26m in the triple jump, which gave him fifth overall.
Griffin, Stokes and
Nsereko Kiwalabye ran personal bests in the 200 with times of 23.21, 23.55 and 23.95. Jones crossed the line in 23.85.
Andrew Parker crossed the line in the 400m hurdles with a PR of 9.41, while
Parker Weigel placed fifth in the pole vault with a season-best height of 3.95m.
Harris and
Aidan Petraglia notched PR's in the 800 with times of 2:03.55 and 2:03.84. Crawley also ran a personal best (2:08.61).
Lloyd Cox threw a personal-best distance of 12.61m in the weight throw.
The Mustangs compete next at the
MAC Indoor Championships, held at the PLEX at Alvernia University, starting on Friday, Feb. 27.
