PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -
Fabrice Saint Hillien led the Mustangs with superb performances in both the 60m and 400m events on day two of the Widener Schuylkill Showdown, held at the UPenn Ott Center.
Saint Hillien took seventh out of 45 competitors in the 60m dash with a time of 7.00 - just .02 off of his personal best. Saint Hillien would also clock a season best in the 400, where he placed sixth out of 43 D2 and D3 athletes, with a season-best time of 49.24.
Parker Weigel placed seventh in the pole vault with a MAC-qualifying height of 3.80m.
Joshua Tidwell,
Jalen Thomas and
Zachary Moore recorded distances of 12.11m, 11.98 and 11.95 in the long jump, respectively. With today's performances, Tidwell and Thomas join Moore as MAC qualifiers in the event. Moore would also jump a 5.75 in the long jump.
Aidan Petraglia clocked a personal-best time of 4:44.93 in the mile, while Joshua Harris ran a 2:05 in the 800.
In the 4x400, Saint Hillien,
Christian Eldridge,
Alexander Reimert and
Zion Stokes finished with a combined time of 3:31.
The Mustangs will have a week off from competition before competing in the two-day Widener Indoor Classic starting on Friday, Feb. 13.
