WESTERVILLE, Ohio – In the first two matches of the Pam Briggs Classic, and the first day of a two-day jaunt in Ohio, Stevenson (2-2) was blanked by both Centre and host Otterbein 3-0.

Set scores in the first match were 25-13, 25-18 and 25-26. The Mustangs recovered from a negative .172 hitting percentage to hit 19-20-91 (-.011) in the opening match.
Rachel Lenz had four kills while
Giulia Viglietta and
Maren Zepfel had three each.
Logan Burge and
Declyn Tooze had two aces each on the day.
Burge was a force again at the net, getting four blocks with Viglietta and
Lillianna Hornickle each getting three.
Tooze handed out 11 assists, followed
Courtney Foose with six.
Defensively, Viglietta had nine digs and Tooze had six.

In the last match of the day, the Mustangs were defeated by set scores of 25-16, 25-15 and 25-18. In the second set, the Mustangs hit (8-4-30) for an attack percentage of .133.
Lenz again led the way in the nightcap with six kills, while Viglietta had five and Burge added in four.
Hornickle got four blocks, with Viglietta getting two.
Tooze had ten assists, with Foose getting nine.
Defensively,
Isabella Terra had 13 digs.
