HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. - The Stevenson men's tennis team dropped its match to Nazareth University (Rochester, NY) by a 5-2 score.
Luke Appleman won his No. 1 singles match in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3 - giving him three wins on the season.
Dominic Duncan was the other bright spot for the Mustangs as he won in No. 3 singles by a score of 0-6, 6-4, 10-7.
Nickolas Valis overcame a one-set deficit in No. 6, but would eventually fall by a 6-3, 1-6, 11-9 score.
Simeon Smith lost his No. 2 match in straight sets, 6-2, 7-5.
The Mustangs (2-5) close out spring break play against the Illinois Institute of Technology on Thursday, March 20 at 9 a.m.
