REISTERSTOWN, Md. - Stevenson Women's Hockey closed out their 2024-25 campaign this evening on home ice against Lebanon Valley. The Dutchmen would earn a 5-0 win.
In the first period, Lebanon Valley scored at 4:01 and 14:22, tallying 13 total shots. The Mustangs recorded eight, headlined by graduate student Franki Cappello with three and sophomores Emma DeMan and Carleigh Barwick with two apiece.
Neither team scored in the second, with the Dutchmen and Mustangs notching seven and five shots, respectively.
The Mustangs upped their shot count in the third, adding 11. DeMan led the period with three shots, followed by senior Megan Swick with two.
At the other end, senior Olivia DeGuire made nine stops in the final period as the Dutchmen scored three more goals. DeGuire's 27 stops tonight bring her career total to 1,887, which is the program's all-time saves record.
In the circle, DeMan went a game-best 15-for-23.
The Mustangs finish their season 8-16-1 overall and 6-14-1 in the MAC. Lebanon Valley concludes their regular season 17-7-1 (14-6-1 MAC) and is slated to face second-seeded Arcadia University in the MAC Semifinal next Saturday.
