ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Stevenson men's tennis team (1-3) fell in its spring opener to host Muhlenberg (4-0) by a 7-0 score.
Simeon Smith and
Luke Appleman dropped a competitive match in No. 1 doubles by a 6-4 score.
Appleman would later overcome a one-set deficit in No. 1 singles, but would eventually fall, 7-6 (7-4), 4-6, 10-4. Smith fell in No. 2 singles in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, while
Garrett Warren lost his No. 3 match by a score of 6-2, 6-3.
The Mustangs will have one month off from competition before traveling to Loyola (Md.) to take on the Greyhounds on Saturday, March 15. First serve is set for 4 p.m.
