Owings Mills, Md. (November 14) - The Stevenson women's volleyball team is set for its 11th appearance in the MAC Commonwealth Championship match as the No. 2 seed on Saturday, November 15.
The Mustangs clinched their postseason berth with a decisive 3–0 sweep at Alvernia in late October and carried that momentum through the remainder of conference play, finishing with a 6–1 MAC Commonwealth record. Stevenson officially secured the No. 2 seed with another convincing 3–0 victory—this time over Albright—on Wednesday, November 5.
With seeding finalized, the Mustangs earned home-court advantage and welcomed last year's MAC Commonwealth Champions, No. 3 Messiah, for the semifinal on Wednesday, November 12. After dropping the opening set, Stevenson roared back to take the next three, securing a 3–1 win over the Falcons and punching its ticket to the Championship round.
The Mustangs now turn their attention to Saturday, November 15 at 3:00 p.m., when they travel to face top-seeded Eastern on the Eagles' home court in the MAC Commonwealth Championship match.
