Owings Mills, Md. (October 29) – The Stevenson women's cross country team has been ranked 11th in the 2025 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Pre-Championship Coaches' Poll, announced Wednesday morning. The poll, voted on by conference head coaches, sets the possible stage for this weekend's MAC Championship meet.
Misericordia topped the poll with 10 first-place votes, followed by Lebanon Valley in second with six. Messiah, Stevens, and DeSales rounded out the top five. Stevenson earned the No. 11 spot, positioned ahead of Delaware Valley, King's (Pa.), Alvernia, FDU-Florham, and Albright.
The Mustangs have shown consistent progress throughout the fall season, highlighted by strong pack running and several breakout individual performances. Under the leadership of head coach
Marcia Fletcher Williams, Stevenson has continued to emphasize development and depth in preparation for postseason competition.
Stevenson will look to outperform its poll position and close the season on a high note when it lines up against the conference's top programs. The 2025 MAC Championship is set for Saturday, November 1, hosted by Delaware Valley. The Women are set to start at noon.
