STEVENSON, Md. - The Stevenson men's tennis team earned a hard-fought victory on Senior Day against Albright by a score of 5-4.
Larry Johnson III and
Simeon Smith picked up the lone doubles win on the day for the Mustangs by an 8-6 score, which gives them five wins as a duo on the year.
Sathwik Madasi and
Garrett Warren fell 8-5 in No. 2, while
Honour Zan and
Dominic Duncan dropped their No. 3 match, 8-4.
Johnson overcame a one-set deficit take his No. 1 singles match, 3-6, 6-3, 6-0, which gives him five wins on the year.
Madasi picked up his second win of the year in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2. Smith would also win in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4, for his third win on the season.
Honour Zan improved his record to 4-1 with 7-5, 6-2 win in No. 5.
The Mustangs (3-7, 2-0 MACC) will hit the road for their next conference match against Messiah on Friday, April 19 at 2 p.m.
