WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Stevenson University men's volleyball team returned from a week off by defeating King's and Regis in a tri-match hosted by the Monarchs on Saturday.
In the opener, Stevenson defeated King's 3-0 to even their MAC record at 2-2. In the second match, the Mustangs (12-6, 2-2 MAC) needed four sets to defeat Regis 3-1.

Set scores in the first match were 25-13, 25-15 and 30-28.
The Mustangs were led by 14 kills from
Tim Flanagan and nine from Aiden O'Brien.
Anthony Pezzino chipped in with seven. Flanagan had two aces.
O'Brien had four blocks with Flanagan and
Brian Farrell each getting one.
Justin Novoa had 21 assists in the opener with
Doug Hines adding in 19.
Defensively, Flanagan had ten digs.
Stevenson hit .494 in the match, with a high water mark of .625 (11-1-16) in the opening set.

Stevenson won the second match by set scores were 25-15, 21-25, 25-22 and 25-18.
Flanagan again led the way with 16 kills, with Pezzino having nine and
Elliot De La Torre getting six. O'Brien had five blocks with
Ryan Thenell getting three.
Novoa had 31 assists with Flanagan having ten digs.
Stevenson hosts Arcadia on Wednesday.
