SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Stevenson University women's volleyball team closed the regular season by dropping a pair of matches at the 19
th Annual River Hawk Classic hosted by Susquehanna University on Saturday afternoon.
In the opener, Stevenson lost to host Susquehanna, 3-1, before being taken out by Rochester 3-1 in its second match of the day.

Set scores were 26-24, 19-25, 25-22 and 25-21 in favor of the River Hawks.
For Stevenson,
Zakara Masibo had 14 kills, with
Rachel Lenz getting 11 and
Sydney Salazar having ten.
Samantha Simmers had four aces as did
Courtney Foose.
Lilly Hornickle had five blocks, with Lenz getting four.
Simmers had 18 assists with Foose adding in 17.
Nicolette Fuglestad had 12 digs.
Rochester 3, Stevenson 1
Set scores were 25-14, 18-25, 25-13 and 25-22 in favor of Rochester.
For Stevenson, Salazar had ten kills with
Giulia Viglietta having seven.
Salazar added in three blocks, with Viglietta having two.
Makala Thompson had 15 assists with Foose getting 13.
Isabella Terra had 14 digs in the nightcap.
Stevenson will travel to Messiah for the opening round of the 2024 MAC Commonwealth playoffs on Wednesday night.
