OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Stevenson Men's Soccer hosted York College (Pa.) this evening in a MAC Commonwealth matchup. An early York goal set the Spartans up for success, leading them to a three-goal second half and an eventual 4-0 victory.
The Spartans got on the board in the seventh minute, but the Mustangs responded with solid defense. Sophomore keeper Nolen Olson-Warwick denied five Spartan scoring attempts in the first half alone.
Olson-Warwick added another five stops in the second as the Spartans outshot the Mustangs 12-6.Â
Stevenson ended the match with four shots on goal, two of which were provided by sophomore Blest Dumbuya with the third and fourth supplied by junior PJ Cera and first year Owen Haviland.Â
The loss sets the Mustangs at 3-9-6 overall and 1-3-2 in the Commonwealth. Stevenson will head to Alvernia on Saturday, November 2nd for their final regular season matchup.
