Women's Volleyball takes on ODAC foes at W&L Tri-Match

LEXINGTON, Va. – The Stevenson University women's volleyball stepped out of conference Saturday, taking on two ODAC opponents in Roanoke and 16th-ranked Washington and Lee.
 
In the first match, the Mustangs took the Maroons (14-8) to five sets before falling 3-2, while in the nightcap, the Generals (24-2) swept the Mustangs (12-11) in three sets

The two teams traded sets as Roanoke won 25-19, 21-25, 25-16, 19-15 and 17-15 in the marathon match.
 
Rachel Lenz had 14 kills in the opener, with Sydney Salazar having 12 and Zakara Masibo getting ten.
 
Makala Thompson, Nicolette Fuglestad and Isabella Terra each had two aces.
 
At the net, Masibo had six blocks, with Maren Zepfel getting three.
 
Thompson had 25 assists with Samantha Simmers adding in 20.
 
Defensively, Fuglestad had 22 digs with Giulia Viglietta and Terra getting 12.

Viglietta had 11 kills and three aces for the Mustangs against the Generals, while Lenz had ten kills.
 
Thompson had 14 assists with Simmer and Courtney Foose getting nine.
 
Simmers added in 17 digs, with Terra getting 13.
 
Stevenson will go to York on Tuesday night
