OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Stevenson University women's volleyball team ran its win streak to nine on Saturday, by sweeping both ends of a tri-match with Penn State-Berks and Penn State-Altoona.
 
The Mustangs (12-3) defeated the Nittany Lions 3-0 in both matches, improving to 7-1 at home.
 
Stevenson 3, PSU-Berks 0
Set scores in the opening match were 25-17, 25-10 and 25-15.
 
The Mustang hit .306 over the three sets, including a 16-1-30 (.500) mark in the second set.
 
Head coach 
Dave Trumbo got his entire lineup in the act in the opener, as 
Rileigh Kimball had nine kills, with 
Darian Dildy getting seven. 
Giulia Viglietta had six kills as well.
 
Didly had five blocks, with 
Carlee Darden getting three and 
Haley Hoover netting two.
 
Makala Thompson had 18 assists and 
Samantha Simmers had nine.
 
Defensively, 
Kayla Vaeth and 
Claire Thompson netted 11 digs, with Simmers getting ten.

Stevenson hit .270 in the match, finishing the third set with a mark of 16-5-33 (.333).
 
Set scores were 25-9, 25-20 and 25-16.
 
Dildy had a strong second match with 11 kills and five blocks, as she hit .529 (11-2-17) in the nightcap.
 
Kimball had six kills in the match against the Nittany Lions.
 
Thompson had 19 assists with Simmers adding in ten and Vaeth getting seven.
 
Vaeth had 22 digs in the finale, as Kylie DeLauriers having 13 and Kimball with 11.
 
Stevenson jumps back into conference play on Wednesday by hosting York at 7 p.m.
