ANNVILLE, Pa. – Stevenson football slotted second for the 2023 season as part of the 2023 Middle Atlantic Conference preseason poll conducted among the league's coaches, announced Thursday morning.
The Delaware Valley University Aggies remains in the top spot following an appearance in the NCAA National Quarterfinals in 2022. From there, Stevenson sits at number two with 72 points and one first place vote after extending its playoff streak to eight consecutive seasons.
King's and Widener follow in third and fourth place with 63 and 46 points respectively. This preseason, FDU-Florham and Lebanon Valley College tied for fifth place with 45 points. Alvernia and Misericordia tail them with a one-point differential at 31 and 30 points respectively. Albright (26) and Eastern (11) round out the poll in ninth and tenth place.
The Mustangs open the 2023 season on the road at Rowan University for some Thursday night action on August 31 at 6 p.m.
