Isabelle Pardew took first place overall and earned All-MAC First Team honors in the 10,000m run on day one of the MAC Outdoor Championships, hosted by York, with a season-best time of 38:22.10. Pardew, who previously won the 3000 and 5000 at this year's indoor conference championships, has the seventh-fastest 10,000m performance in the Mid-Atlantic region thus far.
Makayla Vaughns earned a spot on the podium in the hammer throw with a personal best distance of 42.92m, which gave her sixth place in the event.
Nicole Osei is seventh overall out of nine athletes with a total score of 1844. Osei's top performance on the day was in the shot put where she took first overall with a personal best toss of 9.89m.
The Mustangs are currently fourth out 10 teams with 13 points.
The conference championships resume on Friday, May 5 at 9:30 a.m.
