Cameron Summers ended his illustrious Stevenson career with a first-place finish and facility record in the 200m dash at the AARTFC Outdoor Championships, hosted by Susquehanna, with a season-best time of 21.61. Summers would also place fourth in the 100 finals with a time of 10.72. Summers ends the season with the second-best 100 (10.62) and 200 (21.61) times in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Stevenson finished the meet in 14th place out of 43 scoring teams with 21 points.
Jeremiah Battle finished fifth overall in the decathlon with a total score of 5608 - just one point out of fourth place. Battle's day was highlighted by a personal best in the 110m hurdles where he placed fourth with a time of 16.71. Battle would also place fifth in the javelin throw (38.98m).
Nathan Williams had a top toss of 55.60m in the hammer, which gave him seventh overall in the event. Williams will very likely be competing in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in both the hammer (59.89m) where he has the seventh-best performance in Division III and in the discus where he has the 15th-best performance (50.42m). The field will be announced on Friday, May 19.
