FREDERICK, Md. – The Stevenson University men's volleyball team closed out the regular season with a 3-0 win over Hood in MAC Commonwealth play on Friday night.
Set scores were 25-9, 25-18 and 25-9.
Corwin Trouteaud led the way with nine kills on the evening for the Mustangs (12-16, 6-3 MAC Commonwealth) while Tim Flanagan had seven.
Ryan Thenell had four aces, with Flanagan netting three and Aidan O'Brien getting two.
O'Brien had two blocks, as did Brian Farrell.
Justin Novoa chipped in with nine assists, with Doug Hines getting seven.
Defensively, JD Sarmuksnis had five digs, Flanagan and Jack Braverman each had three.
The Mustangs hit .455 over the three sets, including a 13-1-16 mark in the first set (.750) and a 13-2-16 mark in the third set (.688).
Stevenson, who clinched the fourth seed in the MAC playoffs, will host fifth-seed Misericordia on Tuesday evening in the first round of the playoffs.
