ANNVILLE, Pa. - The Stevenson men's tennis team fell to Lebanon Valley for the second consecutive year in the MAC Commonwealth finals by a 5-2 score.
JJ Bonta and
Larry Johnson III took their No. 1 doubles match by an 8-3 score, giving the duo 11 wins on the year.
Lukas Sanidas - who has the school record for most combined wins (85) - and
Chad Smialek downed their No. 2 opponents by a score of 8-5. However,
Sathwik Madasi and
Simeon Smith would drop a heart-breaking match in No. 3, 8-7 (10-8).
The Mustangs would fall in each of the singles matches. Johnson III, who recently set the school record for singles wins (46), dropped his No. 1 match in straight sets by a 6-1, 6-2 score. Smialek, Madasi and Smith would also fall in straight sets.
