BALTIMORE, Md. - The Stevenson women's track and field team earned a plethora of personal bests at the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational.
Makayla Vaughns notched a personal best in the hammer throw with a top toss of 41.05m, which gave her 10th overall in a field 39 of Division I, II and III athletes. Vaughns' toss is currently eighth best in the Middle Atlantic Conference thus far.
Kyrah Agbemble, who also earned a PR in the event, had a top toss of 35.10m.
Isabelle Pardew clocked a personal best time of 4:45.34 in the 1500, which gave her seventh overall. Pardew's time is currently fourth best in the conference and 10th in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Maryam Al Naseri (5:14.84) and
Celest McConnell (5:26.03) also earned personal records.
Sarah Kroedel placed ninth in the 100m hurdles with a personal-best time of 16.61m.
Jasmine Wilson took eighth in the 400 with a 1:00.37 - just .34 behind her PR.
Kaitlyn Hess took 12th in the long jump with a top leap of 4.81m.
The Mustangs compete next at the three-day Penn Relays starting on Thursday, April 27. Stevenson will also have athletes at the Paul Kaiser Classic (Shippensburg) on Saturday, April 29.
