STEVENSON, Md. - The Stevenson men's tennis team moved to 4-0 in MAC Commonwealth play with an 8-1 victory over visiting Alvernia.
Chad Smialek and
Lukas Sanidas won their fourth consecutive match in No. 2 doubles by an 8-4 score. Stevenson won its other doubles match via default.
Larry Johnson III and
JJ Bonta lost a tough match in No. 1, 8-6.
Johnson won his eighth singles match of the year by a 6-4, 6-4 score.
JJ Bonta dominated in his No. 2 match, 6-2, 6-1, giving him seven wins on the season.
Sanidas picked up his fourth-straight win in No. 3 by a 7-5, 6-1 score.
Sathwik Madasi, who also won his fourth straight singles match, shutout his opponent, 6-0, 6-0.
The Mustangs (8-4, 4-0 MACC) will look to remain undefeated in conference play when they faceoff against Eastern on Saturday, April 15 at the Greenspring Courts. First serve is set for 11 a.m.
