GRANTHAM, Pa. - Jeremiah Battle is currently in third place with a score of 3270 after five events of the decathlon at the Messiah Multi.

Battle's day included a second place finish in the long jump (6.33m) and 400 (51.61 - PR). Battle would also run a personal best in the 100 with a time of 11.38, which gave him third place overall. Battle placed fourth in the shot put with a top toss of 11.42m, while taking sixth in the high jump with a top height of 1.67m. 

Jackson Hall finished the first day of the decathlon with 2811 points. Hall notched a personal best in the 400 (54.48), which gave him sixth in the event. Hall would also set a new PR in the long jump with a top height of 5.61m. 

The decathlon will conclude on Friday, April 14. The discus and 10000 will also take place on day two of the meet.
