New York, NY - Cameron Summers and Nathan Williams both snag second-place finishes on the final day of the AARFTC Championship at The Armory on Saturday.
Summers earned a place on the podium with his second-place finish in the 60m dash, setting a time of 6.96, just edging out the third-place Shamar Love. In the 200m dash, Summers finished eighth, setting a school record time of 22.12. The record was held by Devonte Williams set in 2017 (21.66)
Williams also grabbed a second-place finish, his coming in the weight throw. Williams tossed an 18.37m, one meter short of Alex Kristeller from Widener.
Graduate Student Isabelle Pardew finished fourth place in the 3000m run, setting a personal best time of 10:08.50.
Jasmine Wilson set a new personal record in the 400m dash with a 1:00.37 good for a 15th-place finish. In the men's 400m dash, Jai Raccioppi finished 29th setting a time of 51.61.
Jeremiah Battle placed seventh after the final event in the men's heptathlon. On the second day of the event Battle placed fifth in the 60m dash, setting a personal best time of 9.32 seconds, and tenth in both the pole vault (3.00m) and the 1000m (3:13.13), scoring a total of 4137 points.
