BALTIMORE, Md. - The Stevenson women's track and field team opened up the the outdoor season with five event victories at the Blue & Gold Classic, hosted by Goucher.
Stevenson picked up three of those victories in the sprinting events.
Hannah Kepler clocked a time of 13.05 in the 100 to earn the victory.
Jasmine Wilson took second in the event with a time of 13.17. Wilson picked up a first-place finish in the 200 with a time of 26.67, while
Mia Martinez placed third with a 27.23. In the 400, Martinez took first with a time of 1:00.27 - 2.18 seconds faster than the second-place finisher.
Isabelle Pardew, who was the lone runner in the event, clocked a solid time of 38:32.78 in the 10,000, while
Kyrah Agbemble placed first in the shot put with a top toss of 11.94m.
Alissa Swann and
Maryam Al Naseri placed 4th and 5th in the 800 with times of 2:39.19 and 2:41.84. Naseri would also take third in the 1500 with a 5:24.53.
Sarah Kroedel clocked a 17.48 in the 100m hurdles, which gave her third in the event.
Makayla Vaughans tossed a 36.26m in the hammer throw, which gave her fourth overall.
Stevenson competes next at the two-day Danny Curran Invitational, hosted by Widener, starting on Friday, March 31.
