Kaitlyn Hess turned in solid performances in both the long and triple jump events at the NYU DIII Invite, held at the New Balance Track & Field Center at The Armory. Hess took fourth in the triple jump with a hop, skip and jump of 9.95m and eighth in the long jump with a personal-best distance of 4.85m. Hess's performance in the long jump is ninth best in the conference.
Makayla Vaughns placed sixth in the weight throw with a top toss of 13.08m. Vaughns currently has the fourth-best performance in the Middle Atlantic Conference (13.67m).
Jasmine Wilson clocked a personal best in the 400 with a time of 1:00.42, giving her seventh in the event. Wilson's time is currently third in the conference. Wilson also ran a season best in the 200 (27.27).
Celeste McConnell ran a PR in the mile (5:59.63), while
Maryam Al Naseri ran an 11:32.40 in the 3000.
Hannah Kepler clocked a PR in the 60m preliminaries (8.31). Susanna Lehr crossed the line in the 60m hurdles with a time of 10.89.
Alissa Swann ran a PR in the 800 with a time of 2:33.08.
Stevenson competes next at the Riverhawk Friday Night Showdown, hosted by Susquehanna, on Friday, February 10.
