Nathan Williams set a new school record in the shot put a with a top throw of 15.62m – surpassing the previous school record of 14.80m (Williams and Maurice Johnson) – which gave him second overall in the Shot Put Invite field at the NYU DIII Invitational, held at the New Balance Track & Field Center at The Armory. Williams' performance is second overall in the Middle Atlantic Conference, third in the Mid-Atlantic Region and is 21
st in all of Division III.
Williams also tossed a distance of 17.77m in the weight throw, giving him second overall in the event. William currently has the top throw in the region (18.14m), second best in the conference and eighth best in the Division III.
Cameron Summers set an indoor personal best in the 200 with a time of 22.10 – giving him second place out of 67 student-athletes. Summers still has the best 200 time in the conference, region and is tied for 21
st in Division III.
Jai Raccioppi ran a season best in the 400 with a time of 51.83 – giving him 10
th overall in the event – which is currently third best in the conference and 18
th in the region.
Johnathan Womack ran a personal best in the 800 with a time of 2:01.98, while
Spencer Cole and
Jake Barrett ran solid times of 4:43.79 and 4:47.54 in the mile, respectively.
Charles Greer clocked a personal best in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.40 – giving him 12
th in the event.
Hayden Schindler ran a personal best time of 8:54.23 in the 3000, which is currently the ninth-fastest time in the conference.
Jayden King ran a 7.58 in the 60m dash preliminaries, giving him 10
th overall.
Stevenson competes next at the Riverhawk Friday Night Showdown, hosted by Susquehanna, on Friday, February 10.
