WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Stevenson University men's swimming team ran its record to 5-1 with a sweep of two Wilkes-Barre schools on Saturday.
The Mustangs defeated King's in a MAC contest 108-62, while defeating Wilkes 111-61.
Sean Sopko won the 1000 free with a time of 11:14.94.
Ian D'Angiolillo was the victor in the 200 free at 2:02.73, with
Riley Strain second at 2:04.01.
Zachary Clark was tops in the 200 IM at 2:08.49, with Sopko second at 2:11.38 and
Skyler Coburn in third at 2:20.31.
Strain was second in the 100 fly at 1:01.21, with Cogdill third at 1:01.85.
Clark picked up his second win of the day in the 100 free at 52.05.
Sopko got win number two on the day with a top finish in the 100 back at 57.23. Coburn was third at 1:07.55.
D'Angiolillo won the 500 free at 5:38.81.
Cogdill captured the 100 breast at 1:08.21.
Finally, the team of D'Angiolillo,
Hayden Kaus, Strain and
Jack Mark won the 400 free relay at 3:54.39.
Stevenson heads to Gallaudet on Saturday.
