Men’s soccer concludes season at No. 1 Messiah in MAC Commonwealth Semifinals

GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Stevenson men's soccer team fell to nationwide Division III leader, Messiah, 0-2 in the semifinal round of the MAC Commonwealth Championship tournament on Wednesday evening.

The Mustangs started off strong putting the first shot up in the match-up, but the Falcons retaliated quickly as they asserted dominance for most of the first half. Messiah put away both goals in the first half of the matchup. The first goal came in the 35th minute, and the second one was scored about three minutes later. Despite all offensive efforts from the Mustangs in the second half, Messiah walked with the 2-0 win to head to the championship contest.

Dean Martin put up the lone shot for Stevenson. Nolen Olson-Warwick posted seven saves on the evening.

Stevenson finishes the 2023 season 4-10-5 overall, and 3-3-1 in MAC Commonwealth play.
