GRANTHAM, Pa. - Stevenson Field Hockey played in the program's first MAC Commonwealth semifinal game since 2015 tonight at Messiah University - the top-ranked team in the conference and the fifth-ranked team in the nation.
The Mustangs would score the first goal of the night thanks to senior Meghan Huey via first year Monica Druckemiller off of a corner. The goal was Huey's sixth of the season, tying her at second in the team point rankings with 14. Druckemiller's assist was her sixth of the season, as well.
In net, all three Mustang goalkeepers saw time, starting with first year Jordan Vradenburgh who made a game-high seven saves for the green and white. Senior Eve Vickery entered in relief, making one save. The game was rounded out by first year Reagan Wildasin, who notched two saves. After tonight's contest, Vradenburgh leads the Mustang goalkeepers with 45 saves on the season.
Stevenson concludes MAC play with the best wins record since the 2015 season. They stand at 11-9 overall and finished conference play 4-3.
