OWINGS MILLS, Md. – With a short turnaround after facing ninth-ranked Johns Hopkins Friday night, the Stevenson University women's volleyball team bounced back nicely with a pair of 3-0 sweeps over Lebanon Valley and Stockton on Saturday afternoon.
Stevenson (15-4) defeated Lebanon Valley (11-7) 25-20, 25-10 and 25-22, while the Mustangs defeated the Ospreys (11-8) 25-10, 25-23 and 25-20.

Facing Lebanon Valley for the first time as a non-conference opponent, the Mustangs hit the ball very well averaging .357 over the three sets.
Darian Dildy and
Giulia Viglietta each had nine kills, with
Kylie DesLauriers getting eight. Dildy hit .900 in the three set win (9-0-10), while Viglietta hit .438 (9-2-16).
Samantha Simmers had 20 assists, with
Makala Thompson adding in 15.
Dildy had four blocks, with Hailey Hoover and Viglietta each getting three.
Defensively,
Rileigh Kimball had nine digs with
Kayla Vaeth getting eight.

Stevenson came out hot in the first set, hitting .542 (14-1-24), finishing the match at .240 (40-15-104).
Kimball led the way in the nightcap with nine kills, as did Viglietta. Hoover had seven blocks, with Dildy getting four.
Thompson had 14 assists, with Simmers adding in 12.
Vaeth, who was honored before the match for getting 1,500 career digs, had a match-high 17 digs with Simmers getting ten.
Stevenson heads to Widener on Tuesday to resume its MAC Commonwealth schedule.
