OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Stevenson women's soccer team finished out regular season play with a 2-2 tie with the Hood College Blazers in MAC Commonwealth play.
The Hood Blazers opened scoring on the afternoon with a goal in the 15
th minute to slot a 1-0 lead over Stevenson. In the 22
nd minute,
Camryn Anderson responded with a goal to tie up the contest for the Mustangs.
Karly Sheahan then replied about two minutes later with a goal off a ball from Anderson to secure a 2-1 lead heading into halftime.
In the second half, both teams dueled for most of the period, but it was Hood who put away the lone goal of the half in the 84
th minute to tie the contest 2-2.
In the contest the Mustangs put up 12 shots, seven on net.
Taylor Reider led the shots on goal column with two, as four others tallied one. Anderson notched a three-point match with a goal and an assist, as Sheahan grabbed two points from her goal.
Courtney Wysokowski made 10 saves in between the pipe for the Mustangs.
The Mustangs concluded their season 5-8-4 overall, and 1-4-1 in MAC Commonwealth play.
