ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - Stevenson Women's Soccer traveled to Eastern University today for a MAC Commonwealth matchup with the Eagles. A lone second-half goal would prove sufficient to give the hosting Eagles a 1-0 win.
Though the Eagles outshot the Mustangs 17 to eight, the Mustangs registered seven shots on goal as opposed to the Eagles' six. These seven shots came from seven different Mustangs, including Camryn Anderson, Kamille Purcell, Kayla Gerbes, Madison Rytina, Karly Sheahan, Colleen Fanning, and Shania Hyatt.
Purcell leads the team in shots with 38, trailed by Rytina with 25 and Sheahan with 21.
In goal, senior Courtney Wysokowski made five saves, bringing her season total up to 81.
The Mustangs return to Owings Mills East on Wednesday, October 25th for a 7 PM matchup with Messiah University.
