OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Men's Soccer hosted Widener University tonight in a MAC Commonwealth matchup. The Mustangs and Pride were unable to break the 0-0 tie, leaving Stevenson with a record of 1-2-1 and Widener standing at 2-1-1.
The Mustangs bested the Pride in shots on goal 4-3, as sophomore Ryan Muroff led the charge with two shots on target. The Mustangs remaining two shots were provided by senior Eli Geist and junior Bryce Behe.
In net, sophomore Nolen Olson-Warwick shut down all three scoring attempts by the Pride. Olson-Warwick now totals 79 saves on the season with a 1.64 goals against average and a .790 save percentage.
The Mustangs will hit the road this coming Saturday, October 21st, for a 3 PM matchup at Eastern University. They will return to Owings Mills East on Tuesday, October 24th to host No. 1 Messiah University at 6 PM for Westminster Soccer Association Night.
