OWINGS MILLS, Md. – On Senior Night, the Stevenson University women's volleyball team honored their trio with a 3-1 win over Saint Mary's of Maryland in a non-conference affair.
Set scores were 25-8, 23-25, 25-13 and 25-12.
Stevenson hit .237 in the match, with a .435 output (10-0-23) in the first set.
On Senior Night, it was fitting that
Rileigh Kimball and
Darian Dildy led the way with 12 kills each, while
Kylie DesLauriers had seven.
Dildy had six blocks with Kimball adding in five.
Makala Thompson had 21 assists, with
Samantha Simmers having 14.
Defensively, Kimball had 12 digs with Simmers and DesLauriers getting ten.
Also in the match, senior
Olivia Simon – who has been out with an injury, was able to play three sets. She netted one dig and scored on two of her serves.
Stevenson heads to Marymount on Saturday.
