AVCA Release

LEXINGTON, KY -- The Stevenson University women's volleyball team was one of 212 NCAA Division III and 1,208 overall to earn the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for 2021-22. 

Stevenson joins Stanford (Division I) as the only two institutions to hit the trifecta of the women's, men's and beach teams all being honored.

To be eligible for the AVCA Team Academic Award, a team must maintain a 3.3 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale. The Mustangs won the award for the sixth straight season and for the eighth time in nine years.
