Box Score REISTERSTOWN, Md.- Ally Gibson scored the overtime game-winning goal as Stevenson women's hockey completed their weekend sweep of Arcadia on senior night.
Arcadia got on the board quickly at the 4:03 minute mark immediately following a faceoff. Minutes later the Mustangs held possession taking four consecutive shots but all were saved by Knights goalie, Hannah Bergeron.
Arcadia and Stevenson started off the second-period trading shots. At the 4:35 minute mark, the Mustangs had a power-play opportunity, neither team was able to get off a shot during the two minutes. Following an Arcadia shot in the third period, Stevenson got on the board to tie it up at 1-1. Tea Ferrara and Karly Aguirre assisted Hannah Labbe on the goal at the 5:36 minute mark. Within the last two minutes of the period, Breanna Crosson and Paige Sullivan fired off shots but both were saved.
With the score tied at 1-1, Arcadia and Stevenson were forced into another overtime. With just 45 seconds remaining in the overtime period Trinity Barcless and Ferrara assisted Gibson on the goal.
Ainsley King made 27 saves in the net for the Mustangs. Stevenson outshot the Knights 37-28.
