Nate Arrington recorded another double-double in the Mustangs' 70-69 loss to Elizabethtown College Friday afternoon.
First Half
Senior guard
KJ Holton opened the game with a jumper as the Mustangs held a steady five-point lead though the first seven minutes of action. The Blue Jays battled back to claim the lead for themselves at 11:02, thanks to a layup from Nick Rappa. Elizabethtown stretched the lead to 12 points with five minutes remaining and held a strong lead going to the locker-room up 42-31.

Second Half
The teams battled early in the second half as the Mustangs tried to keep the contest close. Halfway through the second half, Elizabethtown retained a 13-point lead at 60-47. One minute later, a three-point jumper from senior guard
Davon Jones helped to close the gap to just six before the teams began taking fouls. The game ended as Holton made a free throw but missed his second, which would have tied the game, and few last-minute shots also missed the mark for the Mustangs.

Following the loss, the Mustangs fell to 7-5 (1-2 MACC). They will next take on Lebanon Valley at home on Wednesday, Jan. 4 with tipoff scheduled for 6 p.m. Elizabethtown improves to 6-4 (1-0 Landmark) and will host Lancaster Bible College on Wednesday, Jan. 4 at 6 p.m.
