FREDERICK, Md.- Stevenson women's basketball kept their momentum going for their fourth straight win as they defeated Hood, 67-39, Wednesday evening.

• The Mustangs opened up the game against Hood on a 6-0 run after two made free throws from Olivia Coleman. 
• Hood got on the board after a Mustang foul as the Blazers banked both free throws. 
• Midway through the first quarter, Stevenson went up 14-5 on Hood after Kellie Johnson recorded a steal and passed the ball to Morgan DeBeary for a layup. 
• With 45 seconds remaining, Stevenson doubled their lead 18-7 after an Aysia Ferguson layup. 
• Maleah Smith closed out the quarter in the remaining three seconds with two free throws. 

• Stevenson again opened up the shooting in the second quarter as K. Johnson added a layup. 
• At the 6:35 minute mark, Morgan Pennick put down a layup as the Mustangs went up, 26-9. 
• Laci Johnson put up her first points of the game as she added a layup to extend Stevenson's lead, 33-15. 
• At the 2:47 minute mark, Trisha Tellian assisted Emori Jeselskis as she sunk a three. 
• Just over a minute remaining, K. Johnson closed out the scoring for the quarter as she made both her free throws to take a 39-16 lead at halftime. 

• Hood started off the third quarter with a jumper in which the Mustangs, Ferguson responded with a layup. 
• Throughout the quarter the two teams traded points, but Hood couldn't get close enough. Following a Coleman jumper, the Mustangs lengthened their lead, 49-20. 
• At the 2:16 minute mark, Jeselskis dropped in a three to bring Stevenson to a 56-23 lead. 
• Hood ended the quarter with a jump shot with 29 seconds remaining as they continued to trail, 56-27. 

• Ferguson added her 15^th point of the game with a jumper in the first 40 seconds of the fourth quarter. 
• Coleman again doubled the Mustangs lead, 60-31 as she put up a layup at the 7:31 minute mark. 
• During the next three minutes, Stevenson couldn't manage to find the basket and at the 2:20 minute mark, the Blazers added two free throws as they trailed, 64-39. 
• Less than two minutes remaining, Karleigh Leo and Tellian added free throws to lead, 67-39.  

• Coleman totaled 22 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks.
• Ferguson added 15 points from the bench. Ferguson also added four rebounds and three steals. Ferguson was one point short of a season-high as she totaled 16 points earlier in the season the last time they played Hood. 
• K. Johnson added a season-high six steals. 
• Stevenson added 32 points in the paint, 31 bench points, and 18 fast breakpoints 
• Hood outrebounded Stevenson 38-36. 
• Hood recorded 28 turnovers while Stevenson committed 23 turnovers. 

• Stevenson women's basketball closes out January at Alvernia this Saturday at 1 PM.
