ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - The Stevenson University women's basketball team picked up their second win against Eastern University on Friday night at EU Gymnasium, 68-63. Senior Olivia Coleman led the Mustangs with a season-high 21 points and reached double-doubles by grabbing 12 rebounds.

• 15 seconds into the first quarter, a Morgan Pennick basket put Stevenson on the board 2-0.
• The first three and a half minutes of the first quarter featured five three-pointers, two from Morgan Pennick for Stevenson and one each from Jaelyn Harris, Da'Naziah Brown, and Naomi Harris. At the 7:49 mark, the Eagles led by one, 9-8.
• With 3:10 left in the first quarter, off a Trisha Tellian steal, Morgan DeBeary put up a layup to tie the game, 12-12.
• Maleah Smith added a layup and one good free throw at the 3:09 mark to extend the Mustangs lead by three, 15-12.
• A Kay Wulah three tied the game for the Eagles again at the 1:42 mark.
• 1:20 remaining in the first quarter, Stevenson held a 4-1 run to enter the second quarter with a two point lead, 19-17.

• 1:05 into the second quarter, a Wulah three brought the eagles within one of the Mustangs, 21-20.
• In the next four minutes, the Mustangs held a six point run over the eagles, capped by one Brown free throw at the 6:13 mark.
• The Mustangs led 38-21 at the 2:39 mark when Alexa Sanmartin hit a three to extend the Mustangs lead by 17.
• In the final two minutes of the first half, the Mustangs held a 4-1 lead, 41-22.

• Within the first two minutes of the second half, Coleman dished out three good free throws for the Mustangs.
• The Eagles held the Mustangs scoreless for the next four minutes as Eastern scored 14 points to come within eight of the Mustangs, capped by two Coleman free throws.
• Eastern cut the deficit to bring the score to 54-49, heading into the final quarter.

• Two baskets in the opening quarter from Wulah and Viki Kneis brought Eastern cut the deficit down to one, 54-53. Denia Campbell responded with two good free throws extending Stevenson's lead by three, 56-53.
• At the 4:03 mark, Brown brought the Eagles within four through a three.
• The Mustangs collected 10 good free throws in the remaining five minutes of the game to take the 68-63 win over MAC Commonwealth newcomers, Eastern University.

• Stevenson shot 42.9% while the hosts shot 34.4%.
• Stevenson collected three three's while the Eagles had eight.
• The hosts outrebounded the visitors, 39-36.
• Stevenson went 29-43 at the free throw line while Eastern went 11-15.
• The game featured six ties and 16 lead changes.
• Four players scored in double figures.
• Pennick and Campbell each contributed 12 points, Pennick had four steals and five rebounds.
• Sanmartin had 11 points and three rebounds.

• Stevenson will travel to Albright on Thursday, March 4 at 7:00 p.m. before hosting the Lions on Friday, March 5 at 7:00 p.m. at Owings Mills Gymnasium.
