Box Score OWINGS MILLS, Md.- The Stevenson University women's volleyball team hosted a thrilling MAC Commonwealth semifinal match, Wednesday evening in Owings Mills Gymnasium. Stevenson defeated York, 3-1 after the Spartans won the first set.
- Both teams were eager to get rolling as they started off trading points early in the first set.
- The Mustangs picked up two points in a row following a kill from Sophia Eckerd and a service ace from Kayla Vaeth.
- After a kill from Mackenzie Blevins, York went on 4-0 run to force a Stevenson timeout. The Mustangs trailed 7-11.
- A kill from Darian Dildy and an ace from Blevins put the Mustangs within three of the Spartans at 10-13.
- Stevenson kept their momentum going as they added three consecutive points to trail 13-16 after a Spartan attack error.
- Dildy smacked down a kill to bring the Mustangs within two of York at 20-22.
- Stevenson recorded two points in a row to keep York from reaching set point. Kills from Piper Connors and Sarah Straub brought Stevenson to 23-24.
- The teams went back and forth to force extra points with Stevenson falling, 25-27.
- Stevenson started off with a 6-2 lead in set two as they racked up four points in a row, forcing a York timeout. Two kills from Connors, and a kill from Blevins and Straub gave the Mustangs the lead.

- Belvins totaled six kills, 20 assists, and 18 digs while Vaeth totaled 20 digs.
