OWINGS MILLS, Md.- The Stevenson field hockey team dropped a 2-1 MAC Commonwealth decision to visiting Albright, during a rainy Saturday evening.

• Albright got on the board the first two minutes into the game, after a Lion corner. 
• Following the Albright goal, the Mustangs got possession. In the 2nd minute of the game, Stevenson was awarded a corner. Rylee Leakway then fired off a shot but it was saved by the Albright goalie. 

• In the 17th minute, the Lions extended their lead to 2-0 after a shot and a save by Rachel Barker. 
• In the 22nd minute, Macy Kosanovich got her stick on the ball and took a shot but it was saved by the Lion goalie. Kosanovich took another shot two minutes later but that shot was also saved. 

• In the 38th minute after a Mustang corner, Veronica Maring found the back of the cage for a Stevenson goal to cut Albright's lead, 2-1. 

• Albright held possession for most of the final quarter as Stevenson kept up a good defensive front. 
• Albright took just two shots and two corners in the fourth quarter. 

• Mustangs fall, 4-8, 1-4 while Albright advances to 5-7, 3-3. 
• Barker recorded nine saves in goal. 
• Maring tallied her fifth goal of the season. 
• Albright held a slight 12-8 advantage in shots. 
• Albright also held the advantage in corners, 16-7.
