OWINGS MILLS, Md.- The Stevenson field hockey team fell, 3-1 to visiting MAC Commonwealth opponent, York (Pa.).

• The Mustangs were on the board first in the fourth minute of the game as Carolyn Braziel took a penalty stroke for Stevenson. 
• Thirty seconds later, York tied things up at 1-1 with their first goal of the game. 

• York recorded their second goal of the game five seconds into the second quarter to lead, 2-1. 
• The Spartans held possession of the ball for most of the quarter as they totaled six shots and seven corners. 

• York continued to keep the ball on their side of the field until the 40th minute when Kaitlin Karns fired off a shot that was blocked after a Mustang corner. 

• In the 50th minute, York scored their final goal of the game to win, 3-1. 
• Lindsay Garnish from the Mustangs was able to get off one more shot in the final minute of the game but it was saved by the Spartan goalie. 

• Stevenson falls to 4-7, 1-3 in MAC Commonwealth play while York advances to 10-3, 4-1 in MAC Commonwealth play. 
• Braziel scored her second goal of the season. 
• Rachel Barker totaled 12 saves in goal. 
• York outshot the Mustangs, 21-3, and also held a 23-5 advantage in corners. 
• Stevenson had an overwhelming seven cards given to them throughout the game.
