Mustangs Lead Wire-to-Wire, Snap Slide Against Albright

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Host Stevenson held Albright without a field goal for over 11 minutes to start the game and never trailed, outlasting the Lions for a 77-70 MAC Commonwealth men's basketball victory Wednesday night at Owings Mills Gymnasium.

  • Stevenson (6-15, 3-9 MAC Commonwealth) held Albright (11-9, 6-5) without a field goal for the first 11-plus minutes, opening up a 22-5 lead.
  • The Lions misfired on their first 16 field goal attempts of the game.
  • The Mustangs scored the game's first nine points and led 22-3 at the 9:05 mark on two free throws by Mark Terrell.
