OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Visiting Hood placed all five starters in double figures as it led wire-to-wire in a 93-73 MAC Commonwealth men's basketball victory over Stevenson Tuesday night at Owings Mills Gymnasium.

• Hood (15-9, 8-7) used an early 15-0 run to build a 17-2 lead five and a half minutes into the game.
• Stevenson (6-18, 3-12) chipped away and pulled within 10, 21-11, on a layup by Mark Terrell just past the midway point of the opening period.
• The Blazers scored the next six points to rebuild a 16-point cushion.
• The Mustangs embarked on a 10-2 run capped by a layup by Jaylin Johnson with 5:23 left before intermission to make it a 29-21 game.
• Hood closed the half on an 11-3 run and took a 46-28 lead into halftime.

• An 18-10 run by Hood to start the second half made it 64-38 with just under four minutes gone in the second stanza.
• Hood took its largest lead, 86-49, with just over eight minutes remaining.
• Stevenson closed the game on a 15-2 run over the final five minutes.

• Hood shot 45.8% for the contest and connected on 15 of its 43 three-point attempts.
• Stevenson was 50% from the floor over the final 20 minutes and shot 45.3% for the game.
• The hosts took 20 more trips to the free throw line and went 20-34, while Hood was 12-14 at the stripe.
• Stevenson outrebounded Hood 37-35.
• Terrell led Stevenson with a season-high 22 points. He finished 7-12 from the floor and also grabbed six rebounds.
• Terrell is now just 14 points shy of 1,000 for his career.
• Cam Harris knocked down a pair of three-pointers and tallied 10 points.
• Johnson and Norman Hughes added seven points apiece.

• Stevenson wraps up its season Saturday when it travels to Lycoming for a 3 pm MAC Commonwealth contest.
