HERSHEY, Pa. - The Stevenson women's ice hockey team had five different goal scorers as the Mustangs downed Lebanon Valley, 5-1, to claim the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) title Saturday afternoon at Hersheypark Arena.

• The Mustangs (8-8-5, 6-5-3 UCHC) dominated play right from the opening face-off, firing four shots at goaltender Jill Moffatt, before scoring on the fifth shot at just the 3:04 mark.
• Sophomore Ally Gibson centered the puck from behind the net with classmate Tea Ferrara firing a shot on net before Nikki Kendrick buried the rebound to give the visitors an early, 1-0, lead.
• Stevenson continued its offensive momemtum, firing the next four shots on net before the Dutchmen recorded their first shot.
• At the 11:06 mark, the Mustangs went on the first power play of the contest but Moffatt stopped both shots.
• Just 19 seconds after its first power play ended, Stevenson went back on the player advantage, this time putting four shots on net.
• The Mustangs went back on the power play once more and Ferrara converted with 56 seconds remaining in the period to give the visitors a, 2-0, lead going into intermission.

• On the fourth power play of the game for the Mustangs, it was Lebanon Valley (5-16-1, 3-10-1 UCHC) who fired two of the three shots on net, with junior Annika Carlander stopping both.
• Just like the first period, Stevenson had a late power play in the second period, with Gibson firing a shot off the pipe.
• With 41 seconds remaining in the period and 26 seconds left in the power play, senior Jordan Pirrello on assists from freshman Karly Aguirre and junior Trinity Barcless.

• Aguirre got on the scoring column just 2:53 into the frame with sophomore Kendall Miller dishing out her second assist of the season.
• Three shots later, sophomore Elizabeth Gaudreau made it, 5-0, in favor of the Mustangs with Barcless and senior Allyson Barlow picking up the assists.
• At the 13:21 mark, the Dutchmen avoided the shutout as Morgan Martin scored for the hosts.

• It is the second MAC title for the Mustangs in three year's in the league. Stevenson won the inaugural title during the 2017-18 season.
• Stevenson outshot Lebanon Valley, 47-14, including, 21-2, in the first period.
• The Mustangs finished 2-for-5 on the power play while not committing a penalty for the first time this season and first since Decemeber 7, 2018.
• Barlow became the sixth player in program history to appear in 100 career games.
• Kendrick, who finished with one goal, became the eighth player to reach 50 points in her career.
• Both Aguirre and Ferrara recorded one goal and one assist while Gibson and Barcless each totaled with two assists.

• Stevenson returns to action on Sunday, February 16 when the Mustangs travel to Chatham for a UCHC contest beginning at 3:40 p.m.
