Lebanon Valley Pulls Away From Mustangs in Fourth Quarter, 64-52

ANNVILLE, Pa. - The Stevenson University women's basketball team traveled to Lebanon Valley on Saturday afternoon for a MAC Commonwealth match-up at Sorrentino Gymnasium. The Mustangs had a three-point advantage over the Dutchmen at the end of the third quarter but were unable to maintain the lead in the fourth. Lebanon Valley scored 21 points in the final quarter while the Mustangs scored six.

  • The game remained scoreless until a Morgan Bamberger jumper at the 7:31 mark put two on the board for Lebanon Valley (8-15, 3-11 MAC Commonwealth).
  • Stevenson (11-12, 6-8 MAC Commonwealth) responded with a Brandi Hall basket at the 7:17 mark to tie the game, 2-2.
  • One Daeyln Stabler free throw gave the Dutchmen a one-point lead a the 6:50 mark, 3-2.
  • Laila Abdul-Rahman tied the game, 3-3, with one free throw at the 6:30 mark.

  • Crist pulled away from Lebanon Valley off a steal to put up a layup at the 6:16 mark to lift the Mustangs over the Dutchmen, 32-33. Crist came back 23 seconds later to do the same thing to lift the Mustangs over the Dutchemen, 34-33.
  • A Bamberger basket at the 5:08 mark gave Lebanon Valley the lead back. Herndon responded with a layup at the 4:53 mark to take the lead, 36-35.
