OWINGS MILLS, Md - The Stevenson University women's basketball team hosted Alvernia on Wednesday night at Owings Mills Gymnasium, Senior Hannah Crist became the fifth player to record 1,000 points for her Mustang career. Crist netted a pair of foul shots with 4:33 left in the game. The Mustangs fell to the Golden Wolves 58-49, Alvernia surged past Stevenson in the third quarter as they hit four out of its five three-pointers. 

• A Crist three starts the game to give Stevenson (10-9, 5-5 MAC Commonwealth) the lead at the 9:35 mark.
• At the 8:18 mark, a Crist layup gave the Mustangs a five-point lead.
• At the 7:59 mark, Crist followed up with a layup to cap the first eight points of the game off a free throw.
• A Dee McCormick layup at the 6:01 mark put two on the board for Alvernia (7-11, 2-8 MAC Commonwealth).
• To make the score 12-2, Denia Campbell and Olivia Coleman each posted a layup at the 5:40 and 4:49 marks, respectively.
• Alvernia scored the next 10 points in the game capped by a two Julia Ewen free throws at the 1:10 mark.
• Two Coleman free throws with 36 seconds left in the quarter makes it a 17-12 game.

• 11 seconds into the second quarter, Crist sunk two free throws to make the score, 19-12.
• At the 6:25 mark, Campbell hit a three to extend the lead by ten, 26-16.
• The Golden Wolves score the next six points capped by a Cathryn Kramer layup at the 4:14 mark to shrink the lead by two, 24-26.
• A Brandi Hall basket at the the 3:21 mark gave the Mustangs a four-point lead, 28-24.
• A Torie Zebre jumper at the 2:18 mark and a Kramer free throw at the 1:11 mark got Alvernia within one of Stevenson, 27-28.
• Two Hall free throws at the the 1:06 mark extended the Mustangs lead by three, 30-27.
• With 54 seconds left until the break, a Zerbe basket brought the Golden Wolves within one of Stevenson, 29-30.

• Nearly three minutes into the second half, an Abbie Zerbe three gave Alvernia the lead of the game, 32-30.
• At the 5:53 mark, a Gabriella De Vito three extended the Golden Wolves by five, 35-30.
• Another three by Abbie Zerbe at the 3:56 mark, followed by Alvernia's fourth three of the quarter by Ewen at the 3:12 mark to extend the Golden Wolves lead by 12, 43-31.
• A Laila Abdul-Rahman layup at the 2:54 mark brought Stevenson within ten, 33-43.
• Brynne Deluzio brought the Mustangs within eight, 35-43, when she put up a layup at the 2:31 mark.
• A McCormick three at the 1:45 mark and a Kramer basket at the 1:06 mark extened the Golden Wolves by 13, 48-35.

• Two Kramer free throws at the 8:41 mark pushes Alvernia 15 over the Mustangs, 50-35.
• A Ewen basket at the 6:28 mark extended the Golden Wolves by 17, 52-35.
• At the 4:33 mark, Crist sank two free throws for the Mustangs, this being her 1,000 career point. 
• At the 3:23 mark, Crist hit a three to bring Stevenson within 12 of Alvernia, 44-56.
• With 48 seconds left in the game, Kellie Johnson put in two free throws to get Stevenson within 10, 48-58.
• To end the game, Coleman sank one free throw to make the final score 49-58.

• The guests shot 41.8% while the hosts shot 19.2% overall.
• The Mustangs went 3-18 behind the arc while the Golden Wolves went 5-16.
• Alvernia outrebounded Stevenson 50-46.
• Stevenson went 18-24 at the free throw line while Alvernia went 7-9.
• Crist tallied 16 points, while collecting her 1,000 career point.
• Coleman and Johsnon each had 10 rebounds while Coleman also had three blocks.
• Campbell had seven points while Hall had six. 
• Crist and Johnson each had four steals, Pennick and Hall each had three. 

• Stevenson will travel to Widener on Saturday, February 1 for a 1:00 p.m. MAC Commonwealth match-up Schwartz Athletic Center.
• The Mustangs will host Albright on Wednesday, February 5 as they face MAC Commonwealth opponenet Albright at 8:00 p.m. at Owings Mills Gymnasium.
