Box Score FREDERICK, Md. - The Stevenson University women's basketball team collected a MAC Commonwealth win on Wednesday night against Hood at BB&T Arena. Hood came within three points in the final minute of the game but Stevenson was able to hold off the Blazers to take a 64-59 win. Junior Olivia Coleman led the Mustangs with a double-double, 12 rebounds and 11 points.
- To begin the game, Senior Hannah Crist wasted no time as she put a three in the basket just five seconds into the game for Stevenson (9-8, 4-4 MAC Commonwealth).
- Hood (4-13, 0-8 MAC Commonwealth) responded with a Celestria Hill layip to make the score, 2-3, at the 9:37 mark.
- At the 7:57 mark, a Brandi Hall three pushes Stevenson 6-2 over the Blazers.
- An Ebony Pitt three at the 7:09 mark brings Hood within one of the Mustangs, 5-6.
- Crist follows with another three at the 6:51 mark to extend the lead by four, 9-5.
